- Get the computer *WITHOUT* the modem. It seems to be a crappy crippled
- version of the USR Sportster Vi, missing many of the S registers including
- the ones that you would normally change to get a better connection success
- rate to non-USR modems. Since the registers aren't there to change, you
- just can't connect to a lot of modems (in addition to other problems).
